Looking at photos my cousin has posted on Facebook, they're in Japan on a family vacation. His wife has cancer and the outlook is not good at all, and they've been doing All The Things over the last two years. Last year was Europe, they went to see U2 at that dome place in Vegas a few months ago.

I'm also just not good at public speaking! It makes me anxious (especially in a professional setting, and especially especially when its a presentation in a customer or sales situation where there's a contract in play) and the more anxious I am, the worse my brain-mouth connection gets. Not great!

The point I will concede that makes me anxious: a Republican-held Congress will not authorize a new VP if he has to step down mid-term, with the SotH next in the line of succession -- who doesn't have to be a Congressperson, it can be anyone the House majority votes to approve.

I do captioning for a living, & a big part of my job is cleaning up false starts & filler words. That has always been the norm at every media outlet. Print media edits Trump so carefully that you would never know what he actually sounds like. Doing this to Biden is a 180 from decades of policy.
