EU states βfuriousβ about Orban going to see Putin in Moscow. They say he has no mandate to speak to the aggressor in Ukraine.
May have overplayed his hand.

I don't know how much 'political analysts' who appear on networks and cable shows get paid, but I have to assume it's cheaper than actually informing the public about the state of things. Seems to me, people would like some basic factual info re: where candidates stand on what's important here.

I just keep thinking he should answer most of this shit with 'I may be old, but I'm not crazy.' Trump is deranged.

American major media often reminds me of a 5 yr old soccer team where they all bunch around the ball rather than play the field. As they mature, they learn to do better. Our press just hasn't f'n grown up. Just do yet another story, but with ONE new quote. It's crazy.

Are people still confused about what republicans do in primaries vs a general election? It's not that hard.

You have to wonder what the polls would be showing if they did that. He's starting to show his instability again after straining to contain himself for a week. I mean, if *I* can figure that out, how can they not? Or, how can they even pretend that's not a factor? It's so irresponsible.

I was trying to stick close to the actual quote Esper shared. Of course, that was before SCOTUS said he had absolute immunity for 'official acts.'

National security briefings bored him and he didn't bother to read them. Orban visits Mar a Lago, then Putin - his buddies. What was he planning to DO with those classified documents and why does no one ask him that?

And there won't be any protests allowed which people will learn if they try it and he gets to carry out his plan to shoot them in the legs.

It doesn't take long to highlight the differences on major issues. Doing something to curb gun violence (background checks, assault rifle ban), support women's repro rights, deal with climate change, support the troops & vets, health care, child & elder care, increase tax on wealthy not mid class.

I just watched it & though I was never a fan, personally, there's no doubt the man is infinitely more likeable than Trump to most normal people, I'd think. Naturally, not the maga types - who I've never understood for a minute.

I'm waiting for some smart-ass guest to just come out & ask them to tell us who THEY want to see running against Trump & spare us all the angst & drain of pretending to choose among the options. In fact, do that for every election & save $ billions. Oh, I forgot. Ad money.

They need to watch some of Kamala Harris' speeches. I've been thinking about trying to find a couple of those myself. I'm convinced they would unload on her if she's elevated. Not all, of course. She'll probably always have Joy Ann Reid (just guessing).

I suspect there were more than a few who weren't wild about Hillary running in 2016, but almost no one had the guts to buck the machine.

Yeah. Sort of pissed me off I had to click on it just to find out who this mysterious group of leaders and 'activists' was. I'll admit I only quickly scanned, but I think it was far more 'donors' than activists.

Weird that they *could* have had an entirely fresh topic for the typical feeding frenzy after that SCOTUS decision on Monday, or the Project 2025 manifesto but that would have meant some mental work. Now, they chase or receive 'quotes' incl from their own contributors who were ousted from politics.

BBC did a decent job of this a few months ago - well before the SCOTUS immunity ruling disaster. We know the answer.

In this unique era, we needed republican lawmakers to have a backbone and principles. They need an electoral 'shellacking' to wake up and realize it.

Maybe you just need a nice relaxing bath. I just had one & my reaction (you may call me a dreamer) is that Zelensky reveals Tucker a fool and so he'll come up with some excuse to never air the interview. (Or, he'll deceptively edit it.)

When violence expert Bandy Lee publicly warned that Donald Trump likely presented a danger to the nationβs health, she was ostracized by the psychiatric community.
It turns out she was right.

Is it weird that Thomas took a couple of days away and not too long after Alito did and not long after that they release this farce of a decision? There absolutely needs to be another kind of investigation of these people.

I was in East Berlin before the wall came down & was *shocked* at the lack of safety concern on children's toys. That's the kind of thing across all consumer goods & more I'd expect from massive deregulation of everything.
