Inside Out 1 made me weep like a busted hydrant and swear never to subject myself to the Pixar emotional extraction machine ever again. That’s for children? What the hell are they playing at
i'm not even exaggerating one single bit when i say that i started crying about 10 seconds in and literally did not stop until about an hour after the movie was over. thank god i was alone
I think the only Pixar that failed to get me was The Good Dinosaur. I thought I had made it through Onward successfully until the dad scene at the end hit like a Final Destination log truck for emotional stability
That movie made my 70 year old mother say “It never occurred to me that sadness could be good before.”
Which explains a lot about her and my entire childhood…
