With Autism we got The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. I look to YAL to predict where adult lit follows (eg The Lovely Bones kicked off a dead narrator trend which started in YAL). Do you think eg Alice Oseman might do similar for aces?

I think it depends on what you call spotlighted and mainstream, really. Aspec rep in fiction all-around has grown substantially in numbers in the past ten years. It’s just people don’t *care* unless the books are shoved in their faces and then that’s the only one they care about.
