No actually, not really -- it was done through embryo selection. The parents got a print out on various embryos and picked the "fittest" one. Here's an article I wrote on Orchid

How do you think those embryos came into existence? They weren't conceived naturally. I've read your article. My point is that the TECHNOLOGY isn't inherently "eugenics." How its employed is what determines that. I wouldn't trust this techie for a second to do this responsibility.
