Well, the technology there is something called in vitro gameteogenesis which creates multiple embryos but... this isn't the point. You can use polygenic scoring responsibly, but Orchid raises very red flag available. You are right not to trust her.

No actually, not really -- it was done through embryo selection. The parents got a print out on various embryos and picked the "fittest" one. Here's an article I wrote on Orchid

No, this isn't what Orchid does. The interview is misleading. It's polygenic scoring -- think Gattaca, not Frankenstein.

Admittedly it is very confusing in the interview, but it uses a different sort of test called a polygenic risk score to select embryos for a much wider variety of susceptibilities and proclivities. I wrote about it here when Orchid launched.

The Museum of Natural History, hands down, but also I took my cousin's kids to the Intrepid and to this midtown artificial reality arcade which was possibly too much of a hit because all they wanted was to go back. Hamilton has tickets these days if he is into that.
