If you live in the U.S. West, I highly recommend this app. You can set notifications to alert you when there’s a fire in your county, and other counties, too. It’s that time of year. Stay safe!

There’s a fire in Sonoma County, due west of us, which poses no threat to me, but there’s the issue of smoke. Also, you can toggle the layers icon on the Watch Duty map to show air quality. But I tend to use Purple Air for that. The risk of smoke drifting my way made me finally order more masks!
