😬I was regretting not wearing a mask last week while sitting in a meeting in Woodland with about 20 other people, all of them strangers.

It’s terrifying for parents, but I’ve learned to just keep showing up—finding resources and supporting with unconditional love—while being aware that that still might not be enough.

This is quite poor, and morally vapid.
This report essentially claims there are no values underlying a school of sustainability (!!!) that would preclude acceptance of money from effectively any source (regardless how unaligned the corporate donor's values are with the mission of the school).

Tropical Depression 2 has formed, soon to be #Beryl. It will likely become a hurricane and hit the Lesser Antilles Monday. As it stands right now, it will probably continue moving westward towards the Yucatán/ Central America due to a heat dome over Florida & SE protecting us. That could change.

Here is what I am interested in:
Identifying the gestures that might heal and transform us whether we heal ourselves and each other in time to pull out of the worst-case scenarios,
that are ALSO the very same gestures that we will need from each other if we must face the worst in its varied forms

It applies when caring for someone with a serious mental condition, like I’m currently doing, and also when dealing with the climate emergency. All else feels like chatter.

Right now, my weather app says it will be 115 degrees on July 7. The last time that happened we lost power because the extreme temperatures damaged our utility’s electrical equipment. Please, dear heat and power company gods, not this time!🤞😱🙏

In light of Chevron, let's have a look at the level at which ELI pitches "let's educate judges with enough basic climate information to be able to effectively rule on cases."
What is the scientific method
CO2 is a greenhouse gas
Not everywhere experiences climate change the same way
