I got a good enough score that I was persuaded to apply a few places despite a 2.5 GPA just to see what would happen. Ended up getting into everywhere I applied, but I was fully aware that my intractable habit of never going to class (see above GPA) would not serve me well in Law School so I passed.

Also not far off from my experience - 2.8 GPA from an extremely non-competitive school. But I was able to go to (a non-top tier) law school for free, so I went for it.
