It's like the dudes who make an agreement with their lady that neither of them vote, since they'd just cancel each others votes.... Then goes and votes anyway. 🤨

Yeah. The way to tell that you care, but all choices are bad, would be to cast an empty vote. But not voting says "do as you please".

That's right. The correct way of dealing with a government when democracy doesn't work isn't a boycott, it's a revolution.

Not to mention, refusing to vote means the people you least want in office need fewer votes to win. That is: in a voting area with (say) 100 voters, if 20 sit out the election, that means 80 are voting, and only 41 are needed to win.
