The composers did meet, upon which Shumann complained of Chopin's "dreadful habit of passing one finger over the whizzing keyboard at the end of each piece". As Schumann is the only person ever to have mentioned this habit, one is led to suspect that he did it purposely to annoy Schumann.

TONS of urban legends about Chopin, a prince of the romantics and star of the 1800s musical tabloids. Ex: Schumann adored Chopin's music and often wrote about it in flowery detail, which Chopin found irritating. Chopin didn't care for Schumann's music, he never even bothered to remark about it.

My generation went through "whoa I'm getting old" such a long time ago. We had memes about winding cassette tapes with #2 pencils and stuff like that. It's cool to see subsequent generations' humorous takes on ageing.

Recording is always a challenge for me. I've experimented with a few different ways. This video just used a Gopro and I had a second video camera so I could switch between views. The piano can also output midi which can create well-produced audio but I just used a gopro here.

I enrolled in after-school programming classes in 3rd grade. In my first lesson we opened an Apple IIe and studied its internals (CPU, RAM, ROM, and I/O). I thought, "Why are we looking at computer guts? I want to write programs." Little did I know designing computer guts would become my main thing.

I got KO'd by Furiosa the other night. Modern action movies feature non-stop action to the point where I get over-stimmed, numb, and pass out. Happens all the time. I like these sorts of films but they're just too much for me. π΄
