I mean, I kind of felt the same way about bridesmaid dresses, that was why I made them all black for my wedding. I figured no one is going to complain about having a spare black dress, and maybe they already had one.

I found Prednisone really messed with my head and definitely caused me emotional unbalance, so much so that I avoid taking it when I can (and avoid other people if I have to.) I feel like it has a lot of weird side effects you don't necessarily expect.

So many folks are sick again so I share this with love: you must rest. Rest won’t guarantee you don’t get long covid but it’s a huge mitigator. Even if you have an accute mild case. Even if you don’t feel it at all. Send this to your boss. Make your partner clean or use disposable dishes etc.

I think he got slammed by the Gish Gallop... Too many lies too fast, and it's difficult for him when he needs to frame how he's going to speak because of the stutter. It sucks, but this whole "old and confused" narrative is bullshit.

Karen Bass just announced that LA is looking into a mask ban and it is a move that would essentially ban me from public life. I am humbly asking, if you are an LA resident, please call the mayors office and tell them about what it would do to those of us who have no choice but to mask for health.

I can't remember a time when I didn't do this to some extent - my family always treated movies this way. And my parents made animated films so they would pick apart even the cartoons I watched. But it's never actually bothered me or stopped me from enjoying a good movie.

When I first started dating my husband, a native Bostonian, I took him on a hike in the hills in LA. I warned him about rattlesnakes. "Rattlesnakes?! We're in a city!" he said in disbelief. 5 minutes later, the biggest rattlesnake I have ever seen slithered right across the trail in front of us.

We have had them on Bravecto and I'm trying NexGuard now. 😕 But the exterminator comes tomorrow and I'm taking them both to the groomer for intensive de-fleaing. The Shepherd/Husky's dense coat has proved... problematic.
