One of my family members got dispensed 5 mg instead of 10 mg pills for one of his meds this month (the 10 mg was out of stock) and making sure he's getting the correct dose, even with all the pills counted out, is going badly. Keeps missing a pill because he doesn't expect that many.

The way we’re all told to treat all this as normal. It’s fine that half your email is scams. It’s fine that you can’t answer your phone. It’s fine that every Instagram post is full of scam bait comments. It’s fine that people text you weird phishing links. Just adjust your behavior.

i think we should stop giving our ai bots female names (alexa, siri) and give them names from the old white boys club (john, james, chad) in honor of how overconfident and annoying they are even when they’re completely wrong or making stuff up

Maybe check with your veterinarian? They may be able to do it, recommend someone who does, or one of the vet techs might moonlight as a pet sitter who'd be willing to ship as well.

It's been part of the evangelical anti-abortion movement for decades. Once you've redefined fetuses as actual babies, then *any* action to save them from "murder" (killing doctors, burning clinics, stealing elections) is a moral imperative. That holy war mindset is the whole movement now.
