Mask bans are eugenics and ableism coded in law and I would have loved to see people who think they will be able bodied forever (spoiler, you most likely won’t) care about this too.

And of course the reason for diving down the rabbit hole of interesting perfumes was when I started using them for pain management and stress management, among other health reasons. Once I met other people who were even more obsessed with finding the precious than I was, it was grand!

(Yes, my list of Tangible Personal Property in my will has things like unusual rare perfumes on it. Leading an adventurous and interesting life, scent-wise, will make that tend to happen.)

Some of what's on the list are things other scent questers swapped with me or gave me, like the Bandit. I have a few things that I don't sell for sentimental and courtesy reasons, including a bunch of prototypes for Neil-related series, and the like. (Which reminds me: add those to list of TPP.)

Scentbase and LuckyScent and the world-readable reviews section of the BPAL forum are extremely useful for tracking down what the notes are in various scents. There are also specialist gathering places on Facebook and many other social media sites where people help each other find things.

The BPAL goodies I either bought from the Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab or swapped for on the forums, and likewise with the Nocturne Alchemy. There are (or were) a million little specialist perfume oil companies with great stuff. Some, alas, are gone now. (I still miss Fabienne of Possets SO MUCH.)

Got inspired tonight and made a mocktail, which someone should figure out the right liquor for and turn into a cocktail. Some orange juice, a bit of prickly pear syrup, some cherry cacao bitters, some fizzy water. If there's a booze that's like sun-warmed weathered wood, nicely dry, might that work?
