in general if apps like this one are useful, one is in following individual reporters/writers, affiliated with major pub or otherwise. Understand that this is primarily a casualty of oligarchic hegemony , much more so than tech i’d say. Alts like Village Voice are bought out & eviscerated

I have individual reporters that I follow, yes. But I also worry about the push towards content generation and following infinite Substack blogs. Isn't that just hyperindividualistic enshittification? At what point does the atomization of everything become unsustainable?
