As an American in Aotearoa now I still refuse to go to the doctor for fear of the high bills (yes I know itβs not a thing here). I broke my thumb and Iβm just like nope Iβll just snap it back in place, no big deal π I donβt think anyone needs to be worried about other peopleβs healthcare.

Every few months, Auckland Uni send me an alumni letter asking for money. I don't even open them because they spend that money fighting staff in court and refusing to protect them as they do their jobs. I'm gonna put my money here instead.

Pretty sure I broke the bone right below my thumb and I have no clue how I did it. Just hurts like hell π gotta love chronic illness like EDS. But on the plus side I slept in a real bed last night so my knees are happier with me π#chronicillnessproblems #EDS

Daisy jumped on top of these kennels to try and find her baby Grogu toy. Her toy was taken away cause she was being mean to her brother and sister over the toy. Now Grogu is sitting on top of the cat tree πππ she is a troublemaker to the core but I love her π³πΏπΆπ³πΏπΆπ³πΏπΆ

My bed frame arrived! Finally got the mattress off the floor after a year! Itβs taking longer than I expected to piece our lives back together but weβre slowly doing it! Small things like this make me really happy! Excuse the dog blanket on the floor and my laundry hanging up to dry πππ

Yes and no. I feel so guilty for escaping and so worried for everyone I love back there. Also I think this will have impacts worldwide so Iβm not 100% weβre safe from the fallout.
