Norway, the supposed green country is using 70% fossil based electricity because it has sold the green electricity through selling the guarantees of origin (GoO). This is a well known practice of double claiming: without Norwegian or Icelandic GoO’ climate targets elsewhere will not be met.👇

Norwegian consumers in many regions wind up paying much more for electricity now than they did before these deals, blamed on supply line disruptions, but there seems to be no political will to back out. Perhaps they're too profitable for the stakeholders

It does seem like the politicians in wealthy nations don’t realise that climate change doesn’t care about accounting or feelings and will bring extreme and dangerous conditions ALSO to wealthy nations and very soon. Next year will be wild, given the extreme excess energy entering global oceans.
