Full electric Toyota bz4X. To my knowledge only brand at least in Dutch market that offers 10 years guarantee on vehicle and battery. For me too big, waiting for smaller vehicles.

Ik snap je punt wel. En het gekke is dat grote zeevaart misschien wel het makkelijkst over kan stappen naar klimaat-neutraal, ook met bestaande schepen en motoren, omdat de meerkosten van groene brandstoffen op vervoerd product in het niet vallen, het gaat om paar centen extra op productniveau.

The charging profile is making the difference. If you are able to charge with the electricity of your own solar panels, a battery vehicle really is a good deal. Do you rely on public charging or frequent fast charging this will flip the coin.

Growing interest in battery electric passenger vehicles in the Netherlands. With a reason, in case of home charging, especially with solar panels, the battery vehicle is cheaper on basis of total cost of ownership. Notwithstanding a purchase subsidy:

Ze hebben blijkbaar budget voor waterstoftreinen op groene waterstof. Daarmee vergeleken zijn de kosten van 100% HVO toch goed te doen lijkt mij.

Ja en bijvoorbeeld met een mede-investering in een syngas-fabriek in de Eemshaven voor de hernieuwbare diesel (of andere hernieuwbare brandstof die erin kan: ik ken de treinmotoren niet)

That’s why we make sure we don’t let the battery drop to under 30% of range. We more than often had to rely on this.

Also the number of chargers are insufficient for further uptake. 2 chargers? Really? That’s where you lose time: queuing for charging.

I am wondering because we frequently find 50 Kw charge poles next to the highway; highways are not my favourite spot to spend an hour or more to charge.

By the way, i also deeply enjoy the sudden lack of internet connection of my phone: makes finding working chargers en route quite a challenge: Internet dependency.

What I really like about electric driving is checking out the charging capacity which is mentioned with the smallest numbers possible. I also enjoy: getting soaked in heavy rain. 😉 #moredesign
