Bishop's going to take an axe to accommodation supplements as "it is a costly form of housing support"
1st up, those receiving the accommodation supplement etc, (not just beneficiaries) who have boarders to help make ends meet. There's been no media reports on this

I'd love to see the accommodation supplement go (with the proviso that it is replaced with an alternative way of making housing affordable, which won't be what this govt does), because it's currently a firehouse of government cash straight into landlords pockets and keeps rents high
