The US backed a coup in 2014 in Ukraine that overthrew the government that was on good terms with Russia. Since then, the current gvmt allowed the Azov battalion to persecute ethnic Russians, Roma, and other minorities. The new gvmt also wanted to join NATO, which Russia warned against repeatedly

Palestine has been essentially under siege for 75 years. If israel can't win against people they've subjugated for almost a century, maybe they shouldn't have started a fight they couldn't win without help?

1. Even if he can't do it unilaterally, he had the house and senate for 2 years. 2. For a similar reason I don't support israel.
