This frustrates me to no end. Especially people who read Hell World, the newsletter about how bad it is to screw people over, and somehow think no way this guy will be an honest broker. Or else they’re scared to have the slightest mild confrontation.

It's not like a chargeback is zero friction, either (unless something has changed since the last time I had an unresolvable merchant dispute, which I now realize was nearly 20 years ago...)

I once emailed someone and said if you changed your mind just let me know but don’t suck everything down then cancel after trial. He wrote back and said he was taken aback to get a response from a real person and did not have anything to say. Shocked at being confronted for weaselness.
