even if nothing happens to him aside from not being declared emperor for life of the US, it's not so much not having to hear him as it is not having to LISTEN to him to find out what's going on, huge difference

True, but something that I think goes unmentioned a lot is like - it is wild that Trump is running as the nominee four years after losing. I don't think, historically, losing candidates get second chances!

This! The first time I heard him speak again after all that time, it was just a WHOOSH of terrible memories flooding my brain. I can’t take 4 more years of his weird, strained voice whining at me.
