I guess in our hell world maybe a military occupation of half a territory’s people along racial lines can continue to function in perpetuity but I have to think this delicate configuration will not hold. It appears the world can tolerate genocide in Gaza but what about the West Bank?

The State of Israel would still have been a world historic crime but probably would have succeeded in the creation of an ethnostate *if* the settlers had actually been willing to accept stable borders. But the settlers have long ago doomed any chance for two states www.nytimes.com/2024/06/21/w...

It’s gonna be hard for FEMA to operate in any meaningful way when the country is experiencing some natural disaster in multiple areas of the country on a seasonal basis every year. It’s hard for it to feel like an emergency every year when it’s the new normal

I did the same for a while and then I finally just said fuck it I’ll take the six months out new patient appointment. Unfortunately my experience has been they’re not much more helpful than Google but it’s a necessary hoop you have to jump through, we love American healthcare don’t we folks
