That’s me too. And while summers in Chicago can get bad (waiting 5 min for my bus just now made me stabby), the truly bad periods run a lot shorter, usually. And yeah, I’d happily take 10 more 20 degree days in exchange for 1 fewer 90 degree one. No hesitation.

Heck, I spent a summer in Phoenix which is dry but 200 degrees. I’d happily take any Chicago winter over one of those summers.

Yeah, I'm in Minneapolis and we can get a little gross but I see what people in the southeastern US put up with and I'd dissolve into a puddle of sweat and misery. idk how people lived there before A/C. Lotta swimming, I guess.
