Stop worrying about it. I know that's silly but if your thoughts about your writing are focusing on an audience or people reading it, you're going about it backwards. Write what you want to write. Write what speaks to you. What you'd want to read. THEN focus on helping it find an audience.

webcomic creators are often the most passionate and driven creators out there because the medium exists, by necessity, purely for the love of the craft. absolutely no one expects their projects to be self-sustaining financially. commitment is the last thing I think a creator lacks in webcomics

If you are against ai in art you have to be patience with artists! You have to give beginner artists time and not judge their mistakes! Let them work at their own pace and experiment. You have to encourage artist, especially beginner artists! And support indie artists!

I finished the book and it was just an amazing read! It was bittersweet, violent, beautiful and full of love. I cried at the end. Ellwood and Gaunt will definitely be on my mind for a long time ❤️🩹

I’m reading In Memoriam by Alice Winn which is about two men in love during WWI. I was reading interviews with the author and I learned that most poetry that comes from the front was written by queer men. I then found this podcast, reading their words. It made me cry!

Lucid’s webcomics were the first NSFW 18+ webcomics I read and it really encouraged me to explore sex and intimate relationships in my art as well! And seeing the progression if the art in Avialae was inspiring too ✨

As for Electric Bones, I learned a lot about how to make a webcomic through Hazel and Bell thanks to advices they gave during Twitch streams. I always try to apply those when I work on my own comic project now!

Yoko Tsuno is more like the first comic series I ever read and loved! I was obsessed with it when I was young. I think one of the things that stuck with me is that Yoko is never wearing the same outfit and I love that detail so much 😅
