Seeing Heavy Rain for sale reminded me that it is absolutely worth paying $5 to play that batshit game. I paid like $50 and regret nothing. It's baffling, insane, a total failure, but it also has five or six of the best sequences I've seen in a game.

The best thing it did still hasn't been to my knowledge fully imitated anywhere: conversations where the player's primary mode of self expression is choosing how to stand, sit, or pace around the room during a scene. You get to act!
