Dr. Tran - the mask bans that you reference were not about medical masks. They were "anti-Ku Klux Klan" laws that were enacted to prevent people from committing crimes (often violent crimes) without fear of being publicly identified.

You're off base. "Most anti-mask laws do not target specific groups explicitly. Instead, they use neutral language, typically banning mask wearing that intimidates others." Then why is it that Hochul, Adams, and others have been quoted as stating medical masks should be banned?
