The Right will come up with a message before it is spoken aired, agree on it, spread it internally and then start firing on all cylinders with it while making it look grassroots. It's effective.

I think this is mostly a "slow to adapt" thing; they used to get the repetition for free from various media, now they've got to do it themselves.
