Also worth mentioning that if both Biden and Trump are unfit to do the job, I’d rather have whoever Biden chose to really run things rather than the Nazis at the Heritage Foundation. Hell, it doesn’t even matter if Trump *can* do the job because we all know he *won’t*.

Everyone complaining about Biden maybe not being at peak form if he has to be woken up by an emergency forgets that Trump didn’t do anything until about 11 am daily except shitpost. He also didn’t pay attention to any briefing unless his name was in it. And that was 7 years ago.

I had an older lesbian at Pride ask me why transmasc people who date women wouldn’t just stay as lesbians. My eyes got real wide before I explained to her that those aren’t the same thing and that my kid would be dead without transition. To paraphrase Simpsons “Transmascs need the *most* care”.

As far as I can tell (can’t find a list of historical plaques) Egan isn’t commemorated anywhere. He grew up in East York although he lived in the west end when he was doing his activism. He has a heritage minute but nothing else. There are obvious parallels between his fight and trans activism today
