I mean the thing is, the second the candidate himself even hints that he is considering dropping out, it's over. which means even if he is privately considering it, of course he's going to vociferously deny that in public right up until the moment he decides. that's normal!

I'll tell you this: regardless of how this ends I will never knowingly put another dollar through Sulzberger's hands. Which is totally for show but it'll make *me* feel better
