One of the worst things you can do to someone with a phobia of blood draws is to tell them, after they’ve mentally prepared themselves, fasted, and arrived at the office, it can’t be done today after all because the assistant didn’t come in. Anyway, guess what happened to me this morning? 😭

Can confirm. My kid works at McDonalds, makes state min wage, and now hates old people because they are relentlessly mean to her and angry all the time. And the nasty old men come through and call her sugar and darling, and she is completely grossed out.

I have lived to the ripe old age of … uhh, 39… without being able to name all the presidents, vice presidents, and their inauguration years in order. I can tell you who was president during major world events, though. 🤷🏻‍♀️

When I see silly things they still make high school kids learn, I see why there are so many demonstrably stupid people in the US Congress. I really don’t care whether my kid can tell me who was vice president in 1902. More important to recognize a genuine threat to democracy in the 2020s.
