Keeping Trump out of the White House isn’t the only thing that needs doing and it isn’t enough to solve all problems facing the country & world but if it isn’t done then all those problems get exponentially worse in ways I don’t even know how to express and it scares me when people pretend otherwise

We should definitely redouble our GOTV efforts. If we vote in numbers too big to fudge, and make sure that on the first Tuesday in January enough attention is paid to security, we might be able to save the Republic from the Rethuglicans.

Mom voted for Humphrey, Dad voted for Nixon, both had nothing but scorn for Wallace. Dad knew that Wallace regarded Jews as "Christ-killers." And he admired Nixon. I didn't know the EV margin was that close. Of course, Humphrey was infinitely preferable to the both of the Rightists competing.

Today a "lightweight" 38 pound wheelchair was dropped off for me. 38 pounds isn't lightweight. They could have just made it out of bricks with similar results. Ridiculous.

I am absolutely floored by the fact that genuinely lightweight wheelchairs are expensive and hard to get, and so many reasonably priced wheelchairs are made out of steel and are heavy by comparison.

I believe it's not uncommon on the cat loving Internet. House Panther, Parlor Panther, Parlor Tiger...the substitution of Parlor for House just seems fancier. And a wee bit anachronistic, suggesting a bygone, more elegant time.
