Prison escapee falls for US Marshall caper. The Clooney and Lopez chemistry is excellent, a tight script and an out of nowhere a surprise Michael Keaton appearance push this up to being very good. The whole cast is in pretty amazing to be honest.

This exemplifies why I think the transition from having personnel departments to human resources teams was a key part of the downfall of humanity. It may only be semantics from a certain point of view but words mean things. And these words mean people are something to be used for the company.

Midwives are some of the most incredible people I have even met or worked with, they are unusually warm, encouraging and kind as a rule, until they need to focus, and then a switch is flicked and they enter professionalism mode and you can see they are going to move mountains any second.

Never seen it before, very silly, quite fun, I mainly stuck around for James Caan. This scene delighted me

The Wicker Man (The good one)
Do we focus on the folk music (of very variable quality), the director's attempt to undermine it with silly smut thinking it's erotica or that Ewar Woowar's character is such a prick you want him sacrificed to the old gods?

Shawshank Redemption
Accidentally watched half of it when I should have gone to bed the other night.
It's still pretty perfect and everyone gets what they deserve (Except his wife and the old lad and his mate who got shot)

Ah the 'plenty more where you came from attitude' of TV and film is still going strong despite the fact there really aren't plenty more any more

Your annual reminder Elton John wrote a Christmas song for the Billie Elliot Musical called 'Merry Christmas Maggie Thatcher’ wishing death on Thatcher and various other Tories in the chorus, it's pretty great.

Unsurprisingly, while watching 'Being Kae Tempest', when they spoke about their childhood and letting go of being "a little boy" at the onset puberty I burst into tears.

Little things go a very long way. Tiny steps, lead to more and more steps. And then they get bigger It's scary and tricky but there are a lot more of us around than there were now. That helps a lot

Just in case you don't have many gals your own age on this side of the water. The timezones make friends over there harder to maintain

We may have quite a bit in common you know, I feel like I'm a little ahead of you in terms of milestones but I recognize where you are very well. I'm from England too, but live away, and worked this out (Allowed myself to see why I had always been fairly 'troubled') quite late on (Mid 40s).

So if and when you get the chance, get them done. Appreciate it may not be as simple as that. Just wanted you to know earrings are more awesome than I ever expected. Pretty nails were another one too.

Emily love, I don't know how you feel about piercings but I didn't think getting my ears pierced would really mean much to me. Turns out, the sleepers made me feel affirmed, actual dangly earrings after the sleepers made me feel like someone else, which was exactly what I wanted and needed ☺️

"Wealth inequality" is too dainty a term.
Next time some exec pays himself 4000 times what his average employee makes, let's just call it what it is:

Leona darling, I appreciate you trying to be careful with the language used, it is very kind of you. I adore you a little bit for it in fact, but I promise I am not one to jump on little habitual linguistic artifacts that crop up. I occasionally misname myself, it happens love. But thank you 💛

I am very fond of it, It was my Nan's name, it sort of picked me rather than the other way around.
And yeah, you nailed it with the old name. I tried to do a lot of good work for the brand lads, treat it with some respect.

Jess is so frequent I barely notice it any more. I do quietly judge and dislike anyone I meet who I deem to be abusing my old pre-transition name. Those poor guys are held to a higher standard and don't even get a warning.

I made it through half an episode and bailed as the energy was all wrong,. Really sad though as the first three series were occasionally perfect.
