Thanks so much! I went for the Otto Dix works, but stayed for the home design & LGBT+ exhibits. This painting was sweetly hopeful & heartbreaking all at the same time.

I loved the Dix pieces when I was there. Of course there's the one Alan Cumming did as a H'ween costume one year.... SLAM had only one Dix up I think. Amusingly, my partner and I spent 3+ hours in SLAM and only saw Expressionists, Objectivists, and part of home design (~1850-1950). Glorious.
