Lubin's Grisette has rose & citrus - I like it a lot! I think it's like wearing a fresh rose pinned to your lapel; it's a little fancy, you notice it, but it isn't overpowering.
Liis is a very popular line - Rose Struck or Ethereal Wave might suit you if you enjoy tea.

Aren't there directories for the F*deralist S*ciety & their local chapters? I'd imagine that those could be on a website in a day or 2 if someone so chose.

I also take savage joy in flaying anti-immigration zealots who expect this white lady to agree with them.

My mom became a US citizen long after I was born, so there's a (slight) chance I'd lose *my* citizenship because I was born to a foreigner.
IIRC, birthright citizenship wasn't guaranteed until the Reconstruction Amendments. Run a case through this 9th Circuit & SCOTUS, see if it isn't limited.

Hot (as in πΆ spicy πΆ) honey on pizza is really popular in CO.
I'd try it, but I don't know what toppings would make it sing, y'know? Fennel-heavy Italian sausage, red onion, & sliced mozzarella, maybe?

Asking for mayo for fries gets a similar reaction in the US. Save the "ick" comments, people; I can do without 'em!
I do love pineapple on pizza - my combo is green pepper, black olive, pepperoni, ham, & pineapple.
I like lots of contrast in texture & flavor, though, which is hardly universal π

I'm always a bit surprised by how judgy Dix can be, considering his unconventional home life.
But his colors & lines are deeeelish.

She needs a cat tree, honestly; she's a menace when stuff is in her way π
Maybe I can build a box fort for her this weekend?

Ziba likes to sit on the windowsill at the new place, but I live in mild anxiety that she'll decide to clear more space for herself.
We've compromised, so she gets HALF the window π«£π«£π«£

There was a small group of folks that had taken the train up from Nice for the weekend & we bonded over Dix's "Metropolis" - they had a draft version that was wonderful!
(How nice it must be to be able to take the TRAIN halfway across the country for a weekend? *sigh*)

Thanks so much!
I went for the Otto Dix works, but stayed for the home design & LGBT+ exhibits.
This painting was sweetly hopeful & heartbreaking all at the same time.

SLAM?
I saw a fantastic exhibit of German Expressionism/New Objectivity art + photography + design at the Pompidou in Paris - I wonder if it's the same one.

DMNH has some really neat features, but then you go into the rooms where nothing's been updated since the 50s & it's painfully obvious.
The lighting varies so much, too.
The displays have moments when you can see the promise, but nobody's putting money into it.
