I was tagging along on the tour with some UNC students who'd been taught a fairly sanitized version of 1914 to 1945 - this was all new to them. I don't think these sweet kids had ever heard a subject matter expert eviscerate T like that, though. It was *uncomfortable*.

We’ve had the rule for how ever many years but I still click and watch the video every single time. Some days it can end up in my feed half a dozen times and I will still watch every time. It never gets old. I love it every single time I watch it

Zeebs gets wet & dry food, & she's fussy about it, so - the hard stares. Her weirdest thing is "stop, flop, & roll" when I'm trying to get around the house. Her tail's been stepped on more times than either of us like, but it doesn't stop her! 😂

Same - I thought AMS was a nice airport, but I could have enjoyed it even more! Now, if there's a Loetje in there someplace, I might never want to leave - allergy friendly restaurants in Europe aren't to be taken for granted. 🥰

She's pretty good about not eating toys, thank goodness! Also, about not howling in triumph. But, yeah, the coils are her faves right now, so I find them in the strangest spots! (They also don't hurt nearly as much when you step on them at 3 AM 😅)

She's been methodically searching the place for my plastic coil hair ties, but even regular rubber bands will do. If I want her FULL attention, I just wave one at her, & this is the result 😂

Lubin's Grisette has rose & citrus - I like it a lot! I think it's like wearing a fresh rose pinned to your lapel; it's a little fancy, you notice it, but it isn't overpowering. Liis is a very popular line - Rose Struck or Ethereal Wave might suit you if you enjoy tea.

My mom became a US citizen long after I was born, so there's a (slight) chance I'd lose *my* citizenship because I was born to a foreigner. IIRC, birthright citizenship wasn't guaranteed until the Reconstruction Amendments. Run a case through this 9th Circuit & SCOTUS, see if it isn't limited.

Asking for mayo for fries gets a similar reaction in the US. Save the "ick" comments, people; I can do without 'em! I do love pineapple on pizza - my combo is green pepper, black olive, pepperoni, ham, & pineapple. I like lots of contrast in texture & flavor, though, which is hardly universal 😉

There was a small group of folks that had taken the train up from Nice for the weekend & we bonded over Dix's "Metropolis" - they had a draft version that was wonderful! (How nice it must be to be able to take the TRAIN halfway across the country for a weekend? *sigh*)

DMNH has some really neat features, but then you go into the rooms where nothing's been updated since the 50s & it's painfully obvious. The lighting varies so much, too. The displays have moments when you can see the promise, but nobody's putting money into it.
