I honestly think this is a move to limit same-sex and single parenthood and force the reliance on the man and woman dynamic and reliance on the Man to be the key factor for conception. Women getting shafted is just a bonus for them

Neil, they don’t have to ban anything. Hear me out: I got meningitis at 25, was treated with a Vicodin, sent home. I became disabled. Fought 6 years for disability benefits. Finally got them - and was not *allowed* to conceive because of it. Now we’re spreading Covid like it’s our job. Guess what?

Everything in the article is correct, and in addition, they've finally recognized that to fully ban abortion, they need to confer personhood on embryos. "This embryo inside this woman is a person, but this other frozen one is not," would make zero sense as a legal argument, thus they are after IVF

Yeah, the "deeply weird" is exactly it. The way they think about other people's bodies & lives in the most bizarre, intrusive, controlling, inhumane way. A normal person would never want to dictate how/if someone else reproduces.
