It's just life, and there are no magic solutions. Some days are hard, and some days are even harder, but there is coffee, there is the smell of toast in the morning, the flavour of watermelon, there are dogs, and flowers and gardens, and occasionally a few good people to get one through another day.

Just sub the ground meat part with a store bought vegan ground meat OR as I do sometimes - lentils. And for the béchamel use a neutral tasting oil instead of butter, and any plant milk of your choice, though I think cashew tastes best as well as soy.

In our #plantbased kitchen tonight: Musaka (Croatian spelling, otherwise written as moussaka)! Layers of sliced potato, fried aubergine, seasoned faux-meat filling with caramelised onions, and a cashew béchamel, baked until it all turns into magic. Best eaten lukewarm or cold! 🍜

Bacila bi je u bunar. Ljudi stvarno nisu normalni. Ja zivim vec par godina sa long covid a budale misle da je to sve neki vic i samo prehlada, medutim zivot ce ti sjebat long-term. Ja se sada isto ljutim.

These are doggie shades. This old boy is no longer around, he suffered from a condition where sunlight hurt his eyes. He was one of our potato farmer's dogs. I am not sure where they got this from though, but perhaps a thorough internet search may find something similar.

Nosi sve. Prošlog tjedna je Raymondov sin zaspao u vlaku iz Utrechta, navečer putovao kuči poslje neki photo shoot, i dok je spavao mu otvorili torbu koju je imo na krilu, i ukrali mu kameru, lenzu, sve... €4,000 byebye. Jer je Gen-Z budala koja spava stoned sa slušalicama u vlaku. Ti samo nosi sve!

Today in our #plantbased kitchen: Tofu bacon! Twice frozen and thawed block of firm tofu, drained, sliced, marinated and then baked until it turns into salty, smoky, crispy, bacony goodness! Perfect for BLT sandwiches, in certain salads, risotto, or anywhere you'd normally put bits of bacon.
