It is/was possible to get non-hybrid buffalo. I still liked it, but felt bad. The terrible ostrich was more than a decade ago. And, yes, I prepared it "correctly." I just didn't like it. I think I'm allowed!!

You are! I just do add that note because a lot of people put themselves off it...I once ordered ostrich burgers in a restaurant and it was awful. I like ostrich, but that chef could NOT cook it!
