It's hard to escape the impression that you lack the moral courage to headline the difference between Democrats using it when people obstruct actual criminal investigations and Republicans using it as revenge when their investigations are exposed as nonsense.

Your lead is misleading, which Republicans count on because you never point out how Republicans abuse their powers and authority for political ends. They want voters to blame "both sides" and they can count on you to weaponize it for them.
Particularly when you never make a distinction between one party acting in good faith, and the cult of performative liars who continue to abuse and weaponize their congressional powers, because they can count on NPR and the rest of MM to never, ever call out their BS.
