It is a kind of delicious irony. He sees the enshitification, actively TRIES to enshittify, and oops, a good product. Then when Musk completely and totally enshittifies Twitter, he runs BACK there and is like, "this is freedom now".

I don't think it's a coincidence that Dorsey calls X the "freedom site" after Musk turned it into a haven for Nazis and techbros. Dorsey was butthurt BlueSky didn't get picked up by the "right people"
