As far as I know, there's nothing like that, but the lasso fill automatically connects the first and last points with a straight line, so if I need to fill a polygon, I do several archs letting the straight line be on the outside, once per side. It's not ideal, but faster than a selection.

For flattening, I usually select outside a character or background, invert selection, lasso fill (loose) around the area to get the base outline and protect transparency, then do lasso fills on the same layer, or create additional layers with "clip to bottom" and use lasso fill for the flat colours.

Clip studio has the fill lasso. Like selecting and filling, but in one step. Works beautifully.

It would also be unfair not to mention that in almost every book there are these wonderful, selfless and kind people who help others without expecting anything in return. Sometimes they're pirates, and sometimes just regular people. And that's also why I am along for the ride.

Considering you're quite consistent in quality and themes, being surprised that a story of yours is messed up means they didn't read much of yours before that. Ghosts, gruesome deaths, messed up families, mithologies... Those are recurring themes (that's why I climbed on the ride, anyways).

They don't do great games like that anymore. Chaos gate was great.
Honorable mentions for Epic 40K and Spacehulk.

See also: rich people buying their own seasonal apartments they only occupy a few months a year, and investment funds buying whole apartment buildings (often kicking out the tenants) to demolish and build "luxury apartments" to sell to this high profile buyers.

The other thing they don't say: part of the housing problem also comes from expat workers hired by multinational companies. They get much higher salaries than the locals (sometimes 4x or 5x) and can pay outrageous rents or buy houses at a higher price, one that locals can't afford.

What the article doesn't say: the mayor has ties with several of the hotel chains (who did generous donations to his campaign). They're glad to get rid of the competition (unregulated apartment rentals).

You weren't around when Rackham did an IPO and decided to swap metal minis for pre-painted soft plastic ones, then. Biggest massive outrage I've ever seen. The company didn't last a year.

I just draw as a hobby (gave up of getting into comics after a brutal critique by Bob Harras and serious thinking on my side), but there are times when I see a page very clearly, and times when I wish someone could give me a hint in layout form or as a technical script (with camera angles and such).

Peter Parker has always been one of the most relatable superheroes, and having him covering the dad role is great. Newer readers can relate with Miles or other younger guys, but Peter is the nerd who got powers, grew up, had to deal with a lot of tragedy, and still, he had MJ and sometimes kids.

Personally, I loved to see Peter and MJ together. I think there are very good comics where they play their roles to perfection, and other comics where the creative team doesn't know what to do with them. I also love seeing Peter as a Dad (in those realities where he's a dad).

My father's uncle was sent to the Mauthausen camp when he was 16. At 90 years old, he still had nightmares about the steps where the nazis forced the prisoners to climb carrying heavy stones. People fell and were left to die there, half-crushed.

Well, considering how many bad calls have the Warner Bros. CEOs have done up to date, I don't really trust their criteria. I'm sure Furiosa is as good as Fury Road (an excellent film).

I tend to read series of books by chronological order (not writing order). I did that with Clancy's Ryanverse, and also with Stephen King's Dark Tower series, and I prefer it. In Clancy's case, the style changes a lot depending on the time he wrote them, but King is more consistent.

I've switched mainly to European comics or other comics that are short series or mini-series. If I need more than a weekend to read them, it's already too long.

What I loved about the Phantom was that the Secret Identity had a purpose beyond protecting his loved ones or anonimity, which is the usual. It served his legend, and part of his "power set".

Yes, it is. I'm much better mentally when I can just disconnect and escape to another world if I'm feeling stressed. Since I don't have a regular tabletop RPG group anymore, books (physical or audio) are the only option I have.

Dracula, in the way it is written (as letters and journals) is also great, specially the version with Tim Curry doing Van Helsing. I also enjoyed Stephen King's Pet Semetery read by Michael C. Hall.
Some others aren't so great, but when the book and the reading are good, it's a pleasure.

Before the switch to audiobooks, I spent a few years barely reading, and it was taking a toll on my mental health. Audiobooks allow me to disconnect.
I recently listened to "Artemis" ready by Rosario Dawson, and it was a great experience (being written in first person helps).

It's definitely not the same experience. I miss when I could just sit down for an afternoon and just read a book (or several).
Nowadays, my eyes are not what they were, and I don't have much spare time. But I can listen to audiobooks when drawing, or cycling. This gives me time to enjoy new stories.

Yes, it does. I'd say it's an acquired taste, at least the original novel. As I said, the others change in style the further they are from it. I guess Herbert changed or matured along the way.
