Everytime terminix looks at my house they leave a scary note "Termite activity" and then when I talk to them it's "We haven't found any termites but we need to put out traps with pheromones to attract and find out if they're there. $175" Nah I don't think I'm gonna do that.

The worry is there are several states where Democrats generally win statewide elections like governor or Senate, but Republicans have unbreakable gerrymandered control of legislatures. They have 29 Senates and 28 houses(Nebraska is weird), they need 33. AZ, VA, MN, NM, MI are all somewhat at risk.

Only takes 2/3 legislatures of states to call a constitutional convention in which they could just throw the whole thing out and start from scratch. Given the state of gerrymandering in states it's dangerously plausible given one or two bad cycles
