I’m curious to know the connection between these arrests by Israel and instagram’s most recent “apology” for inserting ‘terrorist’ in bios of some Palestinian ig bios & of people who’ve expressed solidarity with Palestine.

Like…I feel like the extreme nature of the content on Twitter is more palpable and is escalating. It feels more concerning now than it has been before. Almost ramping up as we head into the presidential election season.

Twitter is truly a lot. My timeline is getting progressively weirder and making less sense each month. I’m seeing a lot more misogynistic tweets of accounts I have never seen and interacted with.

One of the situations (not related to my search for an investigative journalist) I’m really curious to know more about and what happened is Pollen Midwest. The former executive director left a scathing review of Pollen on LinkedIn.

And the consequences are so real. The Twin Cities is a small town. But so many places needed to get outed for the violence they inflict on marginalized people in the workplace.

I wish organizations and institutions did not have the tight hold that they do have on marginalized people because of the fear that so many of us possess of speaking out and the fear of losing access to resources and opportunities. Exploiting our scarcity mindset.

It is so sad that people are guessing different situations with regard to my tweet about looking for an investigative journalist about a story. That’s how fucked Black women are being treated in the workplace here. In the land of 10,000 nonprofits.
