It's difficult to impress upon people how many things that Americans think are unrealistic or too difficult are just part of quotidian life in Tokyo. I'm not saying life here is perfect (hell no) but ffs learn about how other places do things and take some lessons for your own ways of doing things

Tokyo, a city known by foreigners for its cleanliness, has virtually no public trashbins and trash bags (maybe covered with a net to keep the crows out) or bins are left on the sidewalk outside houses on collection day.
