I get why he’s invited to stuff here in Asia - he’s fairly representative of a Trump II administration’s thinking on the region and govts & experts here will need to build connections - but there’s no damn excuse for US outlets to cover him uncritically

He's also high on my list to be the next John Bolton, the guy who thinks he will finally execute his foreign policy vision only to have Trump do a complete about-face on US diplomacy in Asia when he gets 12 new Trump hotels in China
