Every time they want more tax cuts that will pay for themselves or other such nonsense, it should be pointed out that this not only never happens, but that we have ample evidence that their policies on such topics are complete garbage. We’ve run this experiment before. It always fails bc it’s BS

You need to fill in the part of the statement that they leave out: _who_ will the tax cuts pay? The answer is the conservative politicians and pundits, via kickbacks from the parasitaires who directly benefit from the cut.

I remember when we had huge tax cuts in 2017 and when Covid hit 3 years later we still had to bribe companies to keep paying their workers through the shutdown (and they didn't).

It is a failure to understand basic math. If you have an 11% tax rate and cut it by 1% to grow the economy, then the economy needs to grow by 10% to recover the tax lost. This gets worse if you were to go from 6% to 5% where now it needs to grow by 20%. 2% to 1% would be 100%.
