I am hopeful that unlike previous dictatorship takeovers, the people in the US who oppose this will be harder to divide and conquer. It's in your culture to stand up for others. They are going to have a hard time targeting groups without significant pushback from the entire anti-fascist population.

My Fairphone 5 screen wouldn't turn on and it appeared to not power up either. Instead of having to wait hours for the battery to discharge, it took less than a minute to take the back cover off, remove and replace the battery, and power it up again. It is the first and hope last time it does that!

They sure didn't take kindly when they replaced Sanders with Hillary. If I was American I would have voted for Trump the first time around and hoped that nothing needing an adult happened in the next 4 years. I would have lost that gamble and been full of regret.

Your last sentence there I think has continuously been the Democrats problem. Lots of people didn't vote for Trump, they voted against Hillary in the hope they'd smarten up and fix their party. Then they voted against Trump. Now it's anyone's guess what will happen this time.
