I had a guard at the Vatican Museum approach me in front of the Martyrdom of St Erasmus and ask to borrow my Italian/English dictionary. He flipped through it and handed it back to me, kissing his fingers and nodding at the painting. His finger was pointing to the word "Tripe", haha.
