I told an evangelical friend of mine that Republicans were preparing for a push against contraception. He was absolutely incredulous. I think in large part because he doesn’t understand the Catholic conservatives who drive the pro-life movement.

Professional commentators keep saying inflation is increasing when they mean prices are increasing. Inflation is the rate of price increases. If inflation were increasing, price increases would be accelerating. They are not. Here's a handy chart. Green's slope is inflation. Red is prices.
