My “Cocktails of the Movies” book has a recipe for a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster which includes bourbon, peach schnapps, orange juice, and blue curaçao. The effect is not exactly like having your brain smashed out with a slice of lemon wrapped around a large gold brick but it is pretty good.

I made some birria from scratch yesterday and turned it into tacos and while the first couple tacos fell apart a bit, the rest were perfect, and they tasted great regardless. I feel like I’m consistently getting better at cooking. Maybe some day I’ll be confident enough to call myself “a good cook”
